On 31st May 2004, the dental gallery welcomed our first patient through the door. The practice was founded by Dr. Donny Mandrawa and Dr. Nomita Gonsalvez. It took 12 months in the planning and design before the practice was ready to operate. Since then we have grown rapidly along with Point Cook itself, and by August 2010 we have over 7200 active patients and 4 dentists servicing their needs. In 2011, we have also added an Oral Health Therapist as part of our team, being the first ever practice in Point Cook to be able to offer such a valuable service.

Over the years, we have managed to develop our team into one of the most experienced amongst dental practices in Australia. Combined, our dentists have over 40 years of experience in dentistry, in addition to our support staff having over 80 years of experience in dentistry. Our range of services have, therefore, widened as well, where we not only offer general dentistry, but also orthodontics, cosmetics, implant, general-anaesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry to our patients.

The speed that our practice is growing reflects the quality and level of service and treatment that our patients are receiving. Our main referral base is word of mouth, where we are averaging 100 new patients per month consistently since the day we began operating. We treat patients from 1 to 100 years old.

Our facilities are modern and yet welcoming. We have chosen to be associated with the best technology and highest brand quality of dental equipment and materials, including Sirona, Siltex, Brite Smile, Software of Excellence, GC, Tokuyama, and Oral-B. In 2010, we have strenghtened our relationship with Colgate. We hope to foster a long term affiliation with Colgate, so that our practice can continue to provide and promote oral health in the local community and beyond.

As for the future, we are determined to continue to excel in all aspects of dentistry. Our entire team attends continuing education courses and seminars regularly, to ensure that we always have the best in knowledge and skills, including First Aid and infection control. This means we have the ability to consistently provide high level of service and treatment to our patients, whom we hope can recognise that we care deeply about them. Every person has the right to learn about their own health so that they can take responsibility of it.
